Yellowstone’s Beth and Rip spinoff cast Yellowstone will continue with a spinoff based on Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler, in which Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser will reportedly reprise their roles as the franchise’s favorite couple. According to a new report, Finn Little will also return. Little will play Beth and Rip’s “adopted” son, Carter. He wasn’t legally adopted (as viewers know) by the end of Yellowstone, but they accepted him as their son.

Reilly and Hauser will return as Beth and Rip, while Little will return as their son. Deadline reported Little’s return on Friday, July 11. Other cast members will be announced later.
Since the series is likely based on Beth and Rip’s new ranch in Montana, which is a few hours away from the former Yellowstone Dutton ranch and about 45 minutes from Dillon, it’s unlikely we’ll see many Yellowstone faces in this new show. But according to Deadline, if the original cast members survived Yellowstone’s bloody final season, their appearance is possible.
Is Taylor Sheridan Creating a Yellowstone Beth & Rip Spinoff?
Taylor Sheridan is producing the series. This new show is a sequel to Yellowstone, but as previously reported, it is not being called Yellowstone Season 6. However, since it is directly connected to the original show, it will reportedly include Yellowstone in its title – making it the first spinoff of this franchise to do so.
Where can I watch the Yellowstone Beth & Rip spinoff?
The series will reportedly be exclusive to Paramount+. Yellowstone used to air on Paramount Network, and both of its spinoffs — 1883 and 1923 — stream only on Paramount+. Luke Grimes’ Casey Dutton also has a spinoff coming, but it will be a procedural airing on CBS in 2026. Sheridan is only an executive producer on that show, titled Y: The Marshals. Yellowstone is available to stream in its entirety on Peacock.
Another ongoing series based on the Yellowstone universe is coming soon to Paramount. Madison (formerly called 2024) stars Michelle Pfeiffer, Matthew Fox, Suits’ Patrick J. Adams, former Firefly Lane cast member Beau Garrett, Amiah Miller, Elle Chapman, and Ben Schnetzer.
A spinoff of 6666 and a prequel to 1944 are also reportedly in production.

What is the Yellowstone Beth & Rip spinoff about?
This new part is expected to be a sequel to Yellowstone, but possibly on a different background. It will reportedly be based in the present day of Yellowstone and will have many similarities to the original show. Hauser recently gave an update on the series in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, in which he told fans to “expect the same things we’ve come to expect over the past seven years since Yellowstone began.” He added, “Hauser and Reilly are working hard to create something special.”
Hauser also admitted that it’s weird not having the original Yellowstone cast in the series, in a way indicating that at least one character won’t appear in the new show.
“Not having the cast is definitely [hard],” he said. “Forrie J. Smith [who played Lloyd] has become such a good friend of mine that it’s hard to think that my right hand man won’t be there. But Kelley and I, we’re focusing on [Rip and Beth’s] relationship and our love and what we would push [them] to do.”
