Primetime Emmy Nominations: The Complete List emmy nominations 2025

List emmy nominations 2025 New shows like The Pit, Paradise, Nobody Wants This and The Studio received nominations for outstanding drama or comedy series for the 77th annual Primetime Emmy Awards on Tuesday.

This resulted in nominations for Noah Wyle (The Pit), Sterling K. Brown (Paradise), Seth Rogen (The Studio) and Kristen Bell and Adam Brody (both for Nobody Wants This). These newcomers join veteran contenders like Abbott Elementary, Hacks, Only Murders in the Building in comedy and The Diplomat and Slow Horses in drama.

TV academy president Chris Obrego kicked off the nominations, saying this year saw a record number of entrants. List emmy nominations 2025

Overall, drama “Severance” led the way with 27 nominations, followed by limited series “The Penguin” with 24. “The Studio” and “The White Lotus” received 23 nominations each. Comedy “Hacks” led with 14 nominations.

This limited series will be an exciting contest to watch, as Netflix’s ‘Adolescence’ has received 13 nominations and will be competing against ‘Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story’, ‘The Penguins’, ‘Dying for Sex’ and ‘Black Mirror’. The high quality of these limited series has earned nominations for Colin Farrell (The Penguins), Stephen Graham (Adolescence) and Cooper Koch (Monsters).

Among the morning’s first surprises was that Late Night with Seth Meyers was left out of the Outstanding Talk Series category, while The Voice didn’t earn a spot in Outstanding Reality Competition Program, after Survivor missed out in the category last year.

With today’s list finalized, FYC is in full swing ahead of final voting by Academy members from August 18-27. It will culminate in two Creative Arts Emmy ceremonies on September 6-7, where these crafts will get a chance to have their moment. That will be followed by the Primetime Emmys on September 14, with 25 categories, which will air live on CBS and Paramount+.
